Firmware - Change Log:
Vrs 2.05 -
January 5, 2007
1. Modifed the ringing envelope detector to measure the DC
line voltage 10 ms before the envelope qualifies. This helps prevent erroneous line reversals
detected after ringing.
2. Added a check to prevent the detection of DTMF and FSK
when the AC discharge timer is active. This stops false
event detection during ringing.
3. Modified the DTMF start time criteria to be when either
the row or column level exceeds the threshold level.
4. Added a "blanking" interval which disqualifies the CUSTOM AC detection for a short time window after the AC discharge
timer activates.
5. Revamped the network tone detector to use 3 different
filter banks and a new level variation state machine in order to detect network tones over the entire band
of 200 Hz to 5000 Hz.
6. Changed the DTMF hysteresis level such that it is calculated directly from the detection level instead of an absolute voltage level.
7. Updated the DC auto-calibration routine to be a bit "smarter" as to when it chooses to do a calibration with the hopes of avoiding ringing or any other DC
related event.
8. Gate network tone detections during ringing, since the network tone detector is easily disturbed by noise from
the AC discharge pulse. |
Vrs 2.03 -
May 30, 2006
1. Fixed bug that caused communication errors when
uploading waveform data points for playback.
2. Fixed bug that caused possible erratic readings of the
rear panel digit inputs. |
Vrs 2.02 -
September 9, 2005
1. Fixed bug where accidental CAS detections caused small timing errors on off-hook, on-hook, line-reversal, and disconnect events. |
Vrs 2.01 -
June 7, 2005
1. Improved the network tone detector so it can detect tones in the range 300-700Hz and >=1200Hz.
2. Improved the network tone detector's ability to detect tones containing DC or AC transients. |
Vrs 2.00 -
March 16, 2005
1. Increase
USB data transfer speed
2. Improved waveform capture download speed.
3. Allow fast parallel
set detections to be received within 150ms after CAS is detected.
4. Improved ring detection so compressed ringing due to slow
ring trip is still considered ringing and doesn't appear as line reversals.
5. Improved the FSK mark time detector so valid DTMF digits are not detected as mark.
6. Added network tone detection code for tones between 300-700Hz.
7. Added ability for segmented waveform captures so continuous
captures may be supported in the future.
8. Added code so AC tones and network tones automatically extend captures just like
DTMF. |
