| Overview: |
The Cable Communications Association
(CCA) document TW/P&E/312 describes an
interface for providing Caller Display Services
(CDS) that is an alternative to the British
Telecom SIN 227 and SIN 242. The document includes the
general requirements for the terminal equipment
(TE), along with the physical layer and data link
layer signaling descriptions. Also, testing
procedures and test requirements are provided to
insure compliance of the terminal equipment.
