Details
|
The AI-330 consists of an ISA PC plug-in
card and the TSA3300 software package. The
plug-in card, called a Telephone Signal
Processing Card (TSPC), performs emulation of a
single telephone line with DSP based signal
generation and analysis capabilities. The TSA3300
program, operating under Windows 95/98/NT/2000, provides
the high level user interface. Designed as a
general purpose signal analyzer and generator,
the TSA3300 software performs basic telephone
measurements such as DTMF dialing, pulse dialing,
and flash timing. Single tone signals, as well as
DTMF, can be measured for both level and
distortion. For support of more sophisticated
telephones, the TSA3300 generates Caller ID
signals in both the on-hook and off-hook state,
along with measuring CWD (Caller ID with
Disposition) timing. A programmable ringing
generator allows the capability to configure
frequency, level, cadence, and wave-shape
settings.
For multi-line systems, the TSA3300 software
controls and monitors up to four TSPCs
present in the PC. This can be useful for testing
multi-line telephones to insure they can process
ringing, Caller ID, or network tones on separate
lines simultaneously.
