AI-120
- Production Caller ID Signal Simulator

|
PC based Caller ID Signal Simulator for
production or manufacturing environments.
Generates FSK and DTMF signals for both Type I
(on-hook) and Type II (off-hook) Caller ID.
Software support for all major international
standards such as Telecordia (Bellcore), TIA,
ETSI, BT, CCA, NTT. A built in scripting language
automates testing to various standards. Similar
capabilities to the AI-150; however, the AI-120
software is limited to loading and executing
configuration and script files only. |

Details
|
The AI-120 consists of an ISA PC plug-in
card and three different software packages. The
plug-in card, called a Telephone Signal
Processing Card (TSPC), performs emulation of a
single telephone line with DSP based signal
generation and analysis capabilities. The
application programs, operating under Windows 95/98/NT/2000, provide the high level user interface.
Each software program implements a separate
Caller ID system as follows:
Both the AI-150 and AI-120 include the above
listed software for generating Caller ID signals.
However, as the AI-120 is targeted to production
environments, it is restricted to working with
the scripting language programs only. This built
in scripting language allows for automation of
complex testing procedures. In a normal
production situation, a scripting program created
with either the AI-150 or AI-120 is used to
perform all the required production test
sequences.
